Five NJ school districts teamed up with OnCourse to send love, prayers, and supplies to communities affected by Hurricane Harvey.
In 2012, hundreds of NJ communities were devastated by Superstorm Sandy. When Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas and Louisiana, many of these communities were determined to pull together and help in any way they could.
The team at OnCourse hopped on a big yellow school bus and toured the following school districts to collect supplies like diapers, backpacks, clothing, and toiletries.
Special thanks to Calcasieu Parish Public Schools, which itself had several communities badly damaged by flooding in Harvey's aftermath. Their intrepid team will be receiving and distributing supplies to affected areas in Louisiana and Texas.
We wish all those affected a safe and speedy recovery.
