If you’re a New Jersey school administrator or school board member, there’s a great chance that you have made the NJSBA Workshop a staple of your yearly professional development. Between absorbing valuable information from your peers, and growing your professional goals for the upcoming year, this event always leaves attendees feeling energized about ways to positively impact the education of New Jersey students.
This year the theme of Workshop is “Recognizing the Value of Every Student,” and OnCourse couldn’t be more excited to dive right in, and help bring extraordinary education closer for NJ school districts.
What’s Happening Inside Booth #717?
As you make your way around the Atlantic City Convention Center on 10/25-10/27, we’d love for you to stop by and see our team at booth #717. We will be running a Halloween themed quizzo competition throughout the day using our brand new OnCourse Classroom LMS. Not only will you get to see the future of learning management technology, but you will also be entered to win a prize that was strategically picked to celebrate student engagement.
By taking part in our game, you could win a 3D printer that helps to transform typical tech time into a hands-on activity for any classroom!
What’s Happening in the OnCourse Learning Lab?
Do you want to hear about a NJ district that has created a better educational experience by maximizing the value of software purchases (and minimizing the number of vendors they partner with)?
OnCourse is teaming up with Tom D’Elia from Belleville Public Schools to discuss trends that are impacting the future of education technology for K-12 districts. In the session, “Want Extraordinary Achievement? Master the Ed-Tech Multiplier Effect,” the team will explore how much time and money is being diverted away from the academic excellence of students, and sunk into ineffectual software tools. You’ll leave with an understanding of how to avoid this pitfall by investing in edtech platforms that offer more than a quick fix to long-term challenges.
Anyone registered to attend the conference can sit in on this session on Wednesday, October 26th from 1:00pm - 1:30pm in the Florio Perrucci Learning Lab.
