Implementation Success

Your Roadmap to a Successful Launch

One of the best things about cloud technology is that implementation can be as simple as flipping a switch. However, for data-intensive applications (like SIS or Classroom), a dedicated OnCourse Project Manager will guide you through a launch procedure refined over fifteen successful years.



  • In a digital meet-and-greet, district staff get to know their OnCourse Project Team.
  • An overview of the implementation process is presented.
  • Establish milestone and "Go live" dates.


  • District uses OnCourse templates for collecting legacy data.
  • Data Integrations with 3rd party systems are configured and scheduled.
  • OnCourse team ensures that the data load is clean and complete.

System Setup

  • With district guidance, user access permissions are configured.
  • Unique system configurations are performed for grade scales, discipline codes, attendance calendar etc.


  • A select group of administrators get initial walkthrough of the system.
  • Initial training occurs for System Managers.
  • Final testing is performed.


  • District's custom OnCourse Training Track begins.
  • Staff undergoes live, webinar, and/or turnkey training sessions.
  • Self-paced training begins in OnCourse University.

Go Live

  • OnCourse suite is fully operational and live system use begins.

Guided Start

  • For initial 30-60 days of use, OnCourse Project Team is available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and offer best practices.
  • At conclusion of "Guided Start" period, district team signs off on Implementation closing.


  • All staff members are encouraged to call, e-mail, or chat with OnCourse Support.
  • E-mail support is available 7 days a week, with phone and chat support during normal business hours.
