My name is Glenn Gess. As the 1st marking period begins today, we will continue Remote Learning using Google Classroom. Both hybrid and remote learning students are asked to Log-In to our Google Classrooms:

Period 1         t76gerl

Period 3        Xpx7uvf

Period 6/7     7vi25z3

Period 10      rnb7lz4

All of the classwork will be assigned through and submitted through Google Classroom. However, all grades will be reflected in On-Course.

Below are the Google Classroom Log-In instructions.  Once you Log-In, the announcements and assignments will be posted. The first assignment will be due Friday September 18th before 3pm.

One of my main goals as a physical educator is for students to be involved in their fitness choices and to engage in activities that not only challenge them, but also provide enjoyment. That looks very different for many people based on our interests, current level of fitness, our fitness goals and what is available to us.  Over the course of your educational career, you have been exposed to a variety of activities.  You have found activities you enjoy and some you do not, however, the fact remains the same that ANY activity, (even an indoor or outdoor chore), daily, is good for you physically and mentally.  With that in mind, students will be required to complete the weekly log found in google classroom “HT PE Fitness Log” each week for the next eight weeks. The activity log is designed to monitor and educate students about FITT activities-  frequency, intensity, time, type of workout, and heart rate. Additionally, each log has a spot for parents/guardians to sign off on the weekly activities your child has completed.

Students will need to complete one log for each week for the next eight weeks. Minimum Expectation is to workout 60 min per day 5 times per week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to touch base with me.

Take care,

Mr. Gess
