2023-2024 School Year

I look forward to seeing you at our Classroom Meet and Greet on Wednesday, August 30. You can stop in for a visit anytime between 1:00 and 2:00.

Hello fourth graders,

I hope you are having a wonderful summer! My family and I have been having fun in the sun.  I have a four year old daughter who loves swimming, going to amusement parks and watching fireworks.  I also have a one year old son who loves the sand box, eating crackers and napping. We spend a lot of time visiting family, going to local farms and making s'mores at our firepit. I can't wait to hear all about your summer!

This is going to be an exciting year! I can't wait to meet and get to know each of you. One of the first things we will do in fourth grade is set goals.  My goal is to make our classroom a safe, loving and fun community everyday!

In fourth grade, you will finally get to switch classes. You will be with me for language arts and social studies, and then you will have Mrs. Cappello for math and science. You will love switching classrooms and teachers in fourth grade.

We have been busy getting ready for the school year.  If you look at the tabs on the right, you will see the Supply List which lets you know what you will need for the school year. Please note, we are a peanut-free classroom.  Snacks cannot contain peanuts or tree nuts, and they cannot be produced in a facility that manufactures peanuts or tree nuts.

You will be reading independently each day.  Take a look at the books you have at home and maybe run to the library if you need some more good books to read.

Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
