¡Hola! My name is Señora Padilla and I will be teaching your child Spanish this year! I am looking forward to working with your son/daughter to achieve his/her full potential.
The Spanish program is designed to make learning new words and phrases in a foreign language fun to your children. Your child should be able to tell you what he or she is learning in the Spanish class as we move on with different topics.
We will continue to use Google Classroom at certain times during my lessons. All students will still have access to their Chromebooks and I feel that in order for them to get additional practice in our units of study I will be posting some activities online for extra practice. I will also have some work packets to work on during class. During the first week of school, I will be asking students to join my Spanish class.
My Google Classroom will be set up as a Grade Level on my main page.

3rd-6th Grade Parents:
Welcome back to school and welcome to Spanish! My name is Sra. Padilla and I am your child’s Spanish teacher for this year. I am looking forward to working with your son/ daughter this year and help them achieve his/her full potential.
Class Objectives:
In this course the objectives are:

To acquire vocabulary, sentence structure and good Spanish pronunciation by listening and watching videos presented in class or online.
I consider these four skills for learning a foreign language very important: reading, writing, speaking and listening. In order for students to interpret the target language they should be able to read and listen to simple text or conversations. We can accomplish this by listening to videos and responding to basic written activities. Some activities will be posted in Google Classroom and the use of technology will continue to be in place this school year. I will also be providing paper copies for additional practice.
I will be asking students to join my Spanish class during the first week of school. Please join my Google Classroom according to your gradel level.

Classroom rules
In case we have to do virtual instructions, student’s will need to take responsibility for completing the work posted in Google Classroom. I will be posting learning activities and assignments on a weekly basis and collecting those as evidence of your child’s work during the period of time given.
