My name is Ms. Cheung and you have found my page for periods 1, 2, 5A, 6 and 8 of 7th grade Language Arts at WOK. This will be my 10th year teaching, 7 of which have been in the 7th grade. I am also the coach for the Hillside High School girls volleyball team (Go Comets!). I hope to have a wonderful year with your child.
On this page you will find any and all current information from our class including due dates and homework. Honors classes will have a (H) for the assignments/news if it differs from the standard level classwork. Lab classes will have a (L) for any assignments for that class. The "Current News" link to the left will give you a brief glimpse of what we are working on as well as some due dates. Please click the "Homework and Events" link on the left to access the homework. The "Resources" link is a good place to check out some of the links that we use in the class.
Tutoring is a time for students to receive extra help (one on one or small group), utilize computers/chromebooks, or to simply have a quiet place to work on their Language Arts work. Please make sure to get a pass from your LA teacher, but you can go to any teacher if that schedule works better for you.
