With rising concerns about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Governor John Bel Edwards issued a proclamation closing all schools to students from Monday, March 16, 2020 through Monday, April 13,2020. Due to a confirmed case in Iberia Parish, the decision to close schools is in the best interest of the staff and students.
At this unprecedented time, we are aware that many questions will arise. The district staff and school administrators are working to respond to questions and support families however possible. Communication with our students, families, and employees is very important during these trying times. Please refer to the Iberia Parish School Board website for updated information. Decisions will continue to be reviewed and revised according to the most current recommendations from Federal, State, and Local agencies.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging situation and thank you for your continued support of the Iberia Parish School District.
