Here’s a peek at the week of Oct 23, 2023
Book Fair -- Tuesday in the afternoon is when our class will get chance to purchase books.
*Reading- skill: responding to reading questions - Write written responses using the format :Restate, Answer, and Cite as we read different types of literature
*Writing-Spelling- Words that end with the sound of /ch/ and /k/. Please see your child’s agenda for words that fit these sounds. The test will be on Tuesday, Oct. 24th. These words and a few others that fit the pattern will be on the quiz.
Writing– The children will be drafting and revising a personal narrative.
* Math-. Ch.1 Multiplication and Division The class has been introduce to multiplication and equal groups. Next week we will be learning about division.
*Science- The class has been leaning how to find the mass of objects using a balance scale. They have study guides on the steps to follow to use a balance and a diagram of a balance. A study guide for the upcoming quiz, Wed. Oct. 25th, was handed out today
