Welcome to Mrs. Smith's website!
Hi! My name is Rachel Darbonne Smith. This is my tenth year 
teaching math at Eunice High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Education from McNeese. This year I graduated with my Master's degree in School Counseling from ULM. I've been married to Ben Smith for nine years, and we have a little boy named Parker Paul who is two years old. Outside of school, I LOVE to hunt, fish, and camp. I'm also a member of the Eunice Bass Club.
I am the first National Board Certified teacher at EHS and first Math National Board teacher in St. Landry Parish!!! I sponsor National Honor Society, ACE Letterman, and Homecoming Court. Free tutoring will be available in Mrs. Betsie Fontenot's classroom by NHS members on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I strongly urge any of you who are struggling to go to tutoring; it has helped many students in my class in the past.
