This year I will be using a new phone app to keep parents and students better informed of upcoming assignment due dates, test, school functions, deadlines, class activities, fundraisers, etc.
I am excited about this new technology and think that this will be a great tool in helping all of us stay proactive in your child’s education! The only requirement on your part is the ability to receive text messages on your phone (a specific phone is not required). Students and parents are welcome, and are encouraged, to join! The messages I sent will be from an assigned number and your phone numbers will not be visible to me or anyone else, so that everyone’s private information is kept confidential.

You will receive a text that asks you to reply with your name. Text your name and send (parents please put your child’s name after yours). It’s as simple as that!!!
This is a graded assignment - it is worth 25 points! Must be done by Monday, August 31th!

The program also allows parents and or students to “chat” with me – without sharing phone numbers. You will be able to send me a “chat” but only during my planning time or times set by myself.
