HOMEWORK

Children will have math homework each night.  It will reinforce what we have learned in class that day.  Also, starting in October they will have a RAH/MAH sheet to complete.  Each night they choose whether they would like to read for 15 minutes or practice math facts.  I ask that they try to complete 2-3 of these assignments per week.  I strongly believe that the children have a very structured school day and that family time is very important.  With that being said, I don't like to give a lot of homework during the week but I am also trying to instill responsibility to the 3rd graders.  I will not start homework until the first full week of school in September.
