Student Guide to Hybrid Learning:
Classroom Rules (In addition to schools rules, especially those pertaining to remote learning)
- Enter the classroom quietly and on time.
- Follow Directions.
- Bring all supplies to class each day.
- Treat others with respect.
- Respect school property.
Consequences for breaking rules include warnings, removal from an activity, emails or phone calls home, or office referalls.
Classroom Expectations:
I expect that students will come to class each day ready to learn. Students will try their best to complete classwork and homework assignments when they are due. I expect students to be involved, contributing members of our classroom. You will need to ask questions, share ideas, and learn in this class. By doing all these things, this will be an exceptional year of learning!
Grading Policy
Grades will be weighted according to the following scale:
Major Assessments 45%
Standard Checks/Quizzes 35%
Classwor/Homework 20%

- Writing workshop
- Readers workshop (guided reading)
