The goal is to help the students understand what we are reading. By asking these questions, it will increase the student's reading comprehension. Please keep in mind, new strategies are introduced throughout the year. You can practice the skills as we cover them! :)

 

Parents here are some prompts for you to use as you are reading the weekly story each night with your child:

Who is the main character?

What is the PLOT? ->What is the most important thing that happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story?

 

 

Was there a problem in this story? (Conflict)

 

 

If so how did the problem get solved? (Solution)
