Hello and welcome to our 5th grade classrooms! Mrs. Keiner and I would like to extend this welcome to you because we hope that you will be an involved part of our classroom culture. We hope your summer was an enjoyable one. We are looking forward to a wonderful and exciting year working with your child.
Fifth grade is a very challenging year with many new experiences. We will be developing new skills as well as sharpening the talents that the children already have. Our classrooms are based on respect and responsibility. We work hard to guide the students to be responsible for their own work as well as for their workspace. Additionally, we will constantly be reinforcing the habit of behaving in a polite and respectful manner.

Please check your child's folder the first few days of school for important papers to sign and return. We are looking forward to meeting you in the near future at Back to School Night and working with you to improve your child’s education.
