Procedures for Circulation of Library Material
 

Books

Students in 4^th and 5^th grade may borrow two books each time they are scheduled to visit the library, which is once every two weeks. Books may be checked out for two weeks only.  Students must return books in order to check out new books.  If a student forgets his/her books, they may choose a soft or paperback book one time.  If a student forgets his/her book again, they may read any book quietly while in the media center.

Playaways/Audio Books

Students in 4^th and 5^th grade may borrow one playaway/audiobook each time they are scheduled to visit the library, which is once every two weeks. These resources may be checked out for two weeks only and are to remain in the classroom.  Students are NOT permitted to take these materials home.

Fees and Fines 

Students will not be charged fines for overdue materials. Students will be held accountable for lost or damaged books and playaways.  Students will be required to replace the book/playaway or pay for the book/playaway in a timely manner before getting their final report card according to school policy.
