Memorization of multiplication facts and division facts is one of the biggest
projects for fourth graders. This project may involve help from home. We give small amounts
of practice time and timed tests in school. Addition and subtraction facts should be mastered
at the beginning of the year, so we can focus on multiplication and division facts. We multiply
with two and three digit numbers and introduce long division. We touch base with
measurement, fractions, and decimals.
