Parents, as we move forward from paper copies to more of an on-line educational format, please see below for the upcoming week's lesson. The goal of the lessons are to help familiarize your children with different forms of technology skills and to also hopefully has some fun! My goal is not to put any undo stress on you are your children during these unusual times. With this in mind, if some of the activites are to challenging please do not worry about it and just have your children do the best they can. Finally, there are some extra keyboarding and game sites that students can practice with if they want.

Goals-To work on mouse/trackpad skills and letter recognition
Lesson 1- Complete level 1 of Keyboard Builder- There will be 3 direction screens to explain the game,
click the check mark on the bottm right to go to the next screen.
Then to play the game, click the correct letters in the truck that match the letters on the top of the screen.
Then use the arrows on the top right of the screen to move the letters into the right place above the keyboard.
Finally click the "down arrow" to drop the letters into place on the keyboard.

Goal-Basic Computer Coding
Lesson- Using Kodable website-Complete first 5 levels
Directions- (Using the link below)
1. After clicking the link below, click the first box "Smeeborg"
2. Click "Sequence Sector
3. Watch short video
4. Click number 1 (Blinking ball with number 1)
5. Use the arrows on the bottom to drag the arrows to direct blue fuzz ball through the course, collecting all the stars
6. When the path is complete click the green arrow to check if your path is correct
7. When level is complete click the green arrow to proceed to the next level
8. After level 3 you can customize your fuzz ball, (Click and drag up the 5 icons, ball, eyes, smile, glasses and hat) then complete then next 2 levels

Directions-Drag the arrow(s) on the bottom to the boxes to make the monkey move to get to the treasure chest
