My name is Shalest Karlicek, I am going on my sixth year here at Covington ISD. I have lived in Covington since 2003. I am married to my wonderful husband Kevin Karlicek. We have three children Paige, Keith, and Jozylin. My husband and I are both active members of the fire department. He is the chief and I am the president. We both enjoy helping out our community. 

I teach 8th ELAR,  English I-IV, and 7th Texas History. I am also the Varsity cheer coach as well as the Junior High UIL coordinator. My hands are definitely full, but I enjoy it.
