Welcome Room 165 Families!
My name is Andrea Nascimento. I am so excited to be your child's teacher!
It is going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries!
All About Me:
I was raised in Hillside, and attended all the schools within the district. I graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Upon graduation from college, I began teaching Kindergarten at A.P. Morris Early Childhood Center. My 3 years working as a kindergarten teacher enables me to challenge your child to reach his/her fullest potential. I also speak, write and read 2 other languages; Portuguese and Spanish.
I cannot wait to spend the school year learning and growing with your child!
We have an amazing group of friends and I know it's going to be a wonderful year!

All About Me:
I was raised in Greece until the age of 8. In 2001 I moved to the United States and attended Cranford schools.I attended Kean University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish.
I speak, write and read in English, Greek, and Spanish.
I love working with Mrs. Nascimento and
helping her in every way I can.

A FEW REMINDERS:
- Please provide a healthy snack and drink for your child every day. No sodas, glass bottles/containers, candy, and chocolate.
- Your child will receive a blue folder on the first day of school. This folder is to be sent back and forth from school to home on a daily basis. Important information will be going home in these folders. Make sure to empty out the side the says "keep at home". This will ensure you do not miss any important information.
- Label ALL of your child's clothes, backpacks, and lunch/snack bags with his/her first and last name on it.
- Send your child with a Full-Size book bag and lunch/snack box daily. (make sure child's name is labeled on both)
- If at any point there is a change in phone numbers, address and/or your child's dismissal plan please email me and call the school office immediately.
- If your child is taking the bus, they must have their bus pass at ALL times. If at some point your child is NOT taking the bus, remove the buss pass and send a note informing me of how your child will be getting home and with who.
- I will only allow children to be dismissed with the list of people you provide to me. If the person that is picking up your child is not on the authorized list you provided me I will not allow them to pick up your child. This is for safety reasons!
