Classroom Rules & Procedures!
Before entering the Classroom:
« Take care of personal needs (restroom, water, locker)
« Be in complete uniform (ID visible on lanyard, shirt completely tucked in, etc.) You WILL be checked daily.
« Have all supplies required. (This includes PENCILS.)
Entering the room?
« Enter the classroom quietly and on time
« Collect any missed assignments or other materials as you enter (pencil, paper, calculator- there will be an absent folder in the front of the classroom)
« Give me your ID and I will give you a pencil/ calculator if needed!
« Report to your assigned seat.
« Begin your bell ringer
« Students are expected to be seated and working on bell ringer when the bell rings.
During Class
« Listen to instructions and follow directions the first time given.
« Take out pencil, paper, and calculators.
« Put your book sack on the floor.
« Work quietly
« NO SLEEPING!
« Respect others in the classroom- NO cursing or teasing.
« Raise your hand to be recognized.
« Stay in your assigned seat unless you are told otherwise.
« If you need to use the restroom
- Do not interrupt me if I am teaching- wait for a break.
- Have your planner filled out completely.
- Have your bathroom pass ready!
Sharpening your pencil?
« Please make sure you have at least 2 sharpened pencils for the start of class.
« Try to sharpen all pencils before the bell or during group transitions.
« If the teacher or other students are talking to the class, please wait until they are finished.
During Partner/Group Work
« Each student is in charge of moving their OWN desk to the group and returning it.
« Absolutely NO talking to other groups.
« If you have a question, ask your group members first.
« Everyone must participate.
Finishing Tests/Assignments Early:
« Turn in work to the black stackable tray near the door.
« Work on incomplete assignments.
« Work on other classwork!
« Grab a worksheet from the finished bin!
Substitute Teachers
« Sit in your assigned seat.
« Treat sub with respect
« Remember your routines & procedures. Work just as hard as if I were there.
