Welcome to our class page! My name is Sheiyna Machado and I am over the moon about being your child's third grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year! I graduated from Felician University (formerly known as Felician College) with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Education and English.  

 

I have a passion for both teaching and learning. I am proud to share that I earned a Master of Science in Education in May 2019! This is my 13th year teaching and I must admit, I have the best job in the world! In addition to teaching third grade, I have also taught first, second, and sixth grade.

 

My husband and I have two beautiful girls who are growing too quickly- Shylah (11 years old) and Rhylee (9 years old). I am Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts OBSESSED. My favorite season is Fall because... PUMPKIN SPICE everything! I love polka dots, planners, Amazon, and Target!

 

On my free time, I love to travel with my family and build memories together! I love to eat and will travel quite far for food :)  I enjoy following teacher bloggers from all around the country to gather new ideas and strategies to make learning engaging and brand new for my students each year. I also enjoy reading, writing, and shopping. My dream is to, one day, write a children's picture book! I look forward to our fantastic year full of learning and fun!
