Very Important Information from Mr. Costello
Welcome to fifth grade! Thank you for entrusting me with the privilege of being your child’s teacher. I respect and appreciate any apprehension or ambivalence you may have as we begin a new school year full of changes and unknowns due to COVID-19. I appreciate your trust in me as we face these new challenges in education together. Please know I will work tirelessly to help your child achieve success, whether we are sharing a classroom together, or we are learning together remotely. I will be teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies and Mrs. Grassi will teach Math and Social Studies.
“Class Dojo Stories” will be my MAIN FORM OF COMMUNICATION this year- please make sure to sign up as soon as possible to stay informed on what we’re doing in the school, classroom, upcoming tests, and events. I have included directions for Class Dojo as well as EPIC under specific tabs on the homepage. (EPIC is the site children will use to complete their daily reading homework). If I have forgotten something or if you have a question, please feel free to email, or Dojo “private message” me, and I will respond as quickly as I can ☺
I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s teacher this year, and look forward to working with you and your child. Please remember that my door is always open to both you and your child.
