I am always inspired by this quotation: “Teaching is not a profession it is a passion.” A teacher affects students in so many ways that she never knows where, how, or when the knowledge or example will surface or reappear. I do not count my influence on children in minutes or hours; rather, I know that through my guidance and teaching, I am a vital link in the learning process. I am merely the “sower” of the seeds of knowledge for many of those who pass through my classroom; I may never see the final results of my work, but I do know that, as a teacher, I will have done my part to see that the seeds were not sown in vain.
