My name is Katie Dubois. I have been a SPED teacher for the past 11 years. I taught my first 3 years at JHW and then transferred to NVMS. I am a alumus of NVHS and am married to an NVHS alumus as well. We have 3 children who are also a part of the Patriot Nation. I love teaching in the small community that I grew up in.

Most of my day consists of servicing students in an Inclusion setting, which is providing support in the regular ed. classroom with the regular ed. teacher. My students also are provided accommodations and reteach in a pull-out setting during their Study Skills class. In Study Skillls, we follow the parish grading scale.

Resource/Study Skills is used as a time to make sure students are really comprehending the skills presented during their school day. We use this time as a time for Reteach and understanding.
