Math Classroom Expectations
Notes:
· Write thorough notes that include examples written on the board.
· Check over your notes each day
· Review any formulas or definitions
· Run through the examples to refresh your memory
Homework
· Read directions carefully 2 times
· Work out all problems, showing work on the paper
· When you get stuck, look back at your notes to see if they will help you.
· Check any calculation with your calculator
· Fix all problems when we review the homework. Ask questions and show all work in your notebook
Quiz preparation
· Take a couple of sections a day to review and study. Use past homework assignments to practice those problems. Do them on a separate sheet of paper titled “Test Prep.”
· Do any review pages assigned and pay close attention to what you don’t get. Make a list and come in to see me about those problems.
