Dear Parents,
Subject matter being covered:
Math: Make sure your child is practicing the basic facts for multiplication as they should know them entering 4th grade.
Language Arts we will also work on strengthening and building your reading, writing, and word study skills. The students will be using a Guided Reading program along with the Journeys program. Each week we are targeting a word study pattern, building vocabulary knowledge, and learning to analyze text. Students are also writing daily. The class will be using the Strategies for Writers program as well as incorporating grammar lessons from the Journeys program. Students will be required to read daily.
There are many upcoming events scheduled by the PTO, I hope you all become a part of this wonderful group.

Do not forget to save your Box Tops for education, they help cover some of the expenses for classroom supplies.
