National Honor Society

 

Applications for the National Honor Society will be available after the

2nd Marking Period

for Juniors or Seniors.

You do NOT need to reapply if you are already a member.

 

 

Being a member of the National Honor Society sets  

you apart from other students. 

It lets colleges know that you are serious about learning

and take an active part in your academic success. 

Only a small percentage of students qualify for the National Honor Society. 

So consider yourself among the elite - you earned it!

 

Membership is for Juniors or Seniors only with:

  

A minimum of 1+ year at BHS

(September to June of prior year, and full year you apply)


  85+ Overall Academic average

(Speak with your guidance counselor for your average)


  15 activity points

       (in progress will count)


  Service learning complete for your year

(Junior or Senior per the BHS Student Handbook)

**Once you have been accepted, you do NOT need to reapply**

 

Applications for the National Honor Society are available at the end of the 2nd marking period.  (Juniors will have 2.5 years of grades/overall average,

Seniors will have 3.5 years of grades/overall average.) 

 

The Induction Ceremony for the National Honor Society 

will be in April.
