I am very excited about the upcoming school year.  It is my honor and pleasure to be able to teach at Neville High School, and to help everyone learn the joys of Science.  I look forward to being a part of the progress everyone will make this year.

Some of the goals I have for this year are:

    •  In the classroom, I plan on building a strong foundation of critical thinking skills and ensuring the growth of every student as individuals.  I want every person to leave my classroom better prepared for college or whatever other career path they choose, and to be better person in the community. 
    •  I believe that the best way to help students learn in a Science classroom is to have practical examples of why the material they are learning is important to their lives.  I will use all the knowledge I have gained over the years from being a research scientist and working as an environmental consultant to help show the students how Science affects their everyday lives.
    •  I hope to bring Science to the real world for everyone by presenting material that relates what they are learning in class to the lives around them.  I will in particular focus on relating Science to the Northeast region of Louisiana.
