Hello! My name is Marissa (Veronie) Casterline. This will be my seventh year teaching at KHS, and I love it! For the previous 3 years, I taught in Abbeville, both at the high school in their Freshmen Academy and at the middle school in 8th grade. Before that, I taught for one semester at Lafayette Middle School working with low reading levels in an elective program. I absolutely love teaching and have wanted to be a teacher since second grade. It doesn't really matter to me where or what I teach--the students make it the most enjoyable career and worth getting up every morning!
