Meet the Teacher!
This is me on the 100th day of school a few years back!
My name is Krista Losardo and I am one of three second-grade teachers at Memorial Elementary School. I graduated from William Paterson University in May of 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I also attained my Certificate of Eligibility in Elementary Education. This is my 16th year teaching in the district, and my 11th year in second grade! I am beyond excited to work with our AMAZING second-grade team and once again be a part of the North Haledon Community!
My interests include reading, traveling, cooking, the beach, and spending as much time as I can with my family and friends. My husband and I have two children, Joey (6) and Stella (2). Joey is attending First Grade at Memorial, so I will also take on the role of parent this year!
We also love taking our sweet pup, Duke, to the dog park! He's such a cutie!
Teaching is the most rewarding job I think anyone can have. Seeing how much children can grow, not only academically, but socially and emotionally in one school year is simply amazing.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your little one's second-grade adventure. As I tell the students..."This year will be the best one yet!" :)
