Señora Bilbao’s Guide For Your Interactive Notebook

What is an interactive notebook?

An interactive notebook (IAN) is just like any other notebook, but it’s interactive – you interact and work with the notes, handouts and information being taught to you in a creative way. Interactive notebooks will be used for class notes as well as for other activities where you will be asked to express your own ideas and process or apply the information and skills learned in class. It will be a very helpful study guide when reviewing for quizzes, tests, midterm and final exams.

What materials do I need?

  • Left-side spiral bound notebook
  • Highlighters
  • Glue stick ( you may want to keep at least 2 in your pencil case)
  • Assorted color pens or pencils (magic markers often bleed through, messing up other pages)

How should my notebook be organized?

Your notebook will be organized into a Left Side and a Right Side.

  • Create a nice cover for your Spanish notebook . Also, write your name on the front cover.
  • Number all RIGHT side pages chronologically as you work.
  • Set up Table of Contents using three columns: Date Assigned, Assignment, Page #.  These titles should be in Spanish: Fecha / Actividad/ Página*** Remember to write the date in Spanish . For example:  8.9.22(This would be September 8, 2022).
