 Classroom Rules

1. Raise your hand to speak

2. Follow Directions quickly

3. Use helpful hands and words

4. Use inside voices

5. Make smart choices

6. Keep your dear teacher happy!

 

The students are expected to follow these classroom rules and the rules set by the administration throughout the school.  Positive incintives will be used daily, such as Pirate Bucks and stickers.  Monthly incintives set by the PBIS team will be rewarded for those students who do not receive infractions.  

If a student chooses to disobey classroom or school rules the following steps will be enforced:

   1. Verbal warning stating inappropriate behavior and desired behavior

   2. One tally noted on a chart used by the teacher- warning

   3. Two tally marks noted on chart by teacher and student will be in time out for recess and be required to fill out a "time out" form, illustrating reason for being    in  time out and a more desirable behavior (teacher will make notes of students statement of illustration and discuss behaviors and expectations, again)

   4. Three tally marks - results in an infraction and a call or note home, along with office form for infractions
