What is a typical day look like in Mrs. Fillmyer's class!

• School starts at 8:40. Students come into the classroom and being morning work, while we get ready for the day. 
• Morning Meeting - we discuss the days of the week, the date, the weather, count the days in the school year and MUCH more!
• Reading - We will discuss fiction, and non-fiction, how to book shop, sight words, and SO MUCH more!
• Special - see other tab for speicals schedule
• Recess is first this year! Then students will eat lunch, around 11:00
• Writing - we will discuss small moment writing, and how to writing. We will learn to use puncuation marks, spacing, capital letters at the start of a sentence, and how to make a detailed picture with labels.
• Funations - this is where we learn all about letters and their sounds. We will meet ECHO the owl, who will help us everyday! 
• Science or social studies- We will learn about the seasons, apples, pumpkins, presidents, weather, animals, ocean life, and plants. This is just to name a FEW!
• Centers - I have a lot of fun centers throughout the year. Some include, library, iPads, bingo games, blocks, shapes, dry erase markers, dice, magnets, and smartboard games!

School ends at 3:00
