Meet Mrs. Rowland

 

 Hi!  My name is Mrs. Rowland.   I've been teaching at Magowan since 2011.   Before I came to Magowan I taught 2nd grade in Camden, NJ for four years.    I graduated from Holy Family University in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education.  I live in Delran, NJ with my husband and our two children, Seamus and Teagan.    I love to read, bake, go shopping, watch my kids play sports, and spend time with my family.  My favorite place is the beach!  Seamus and Teagan keep us very busy and we love watching them discover the world.  I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I couldn't be happier doing it anywhere else than Magowan.

My goal as a teacher is to to provide my students with a fun and safe environment that will promote academic learning and growth. I believe that learning should be exciting, challenging, and hands-on.  I will do my part to encourage and motivate each child to achieve at their highest level and develop into life-long learners.  Education is a partnership between home and school, feel free to contact me anytime with concerns or questions.  Together we can!
