Mrs. Ziruolo

 

My name is Debbie Ziruolo. I am originally from New Jersey but relocated with my family during my middle school years. I attended middle and high schools in Lee Country and went on to attend FGCU.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2001. In 2015 I earned my Masters of Education Degree in Educational Leadership.

 

I have been teaching since the 2001-2002 school year. This year marks my 6th year at Diplomat Elementary. My previous 15 years were at a title I school close by. I have taught students in grades 1 -5 as a homeroom and resource teacher.

 

I am married and have 2 children. My children are in 9th and 6th grade. 

 

 

I believe that all children can learn. Because of this, my expectations are high for all students. This doesn't mean that we will all learn things in the exact same way or the exact same time- but we are all going to improve. There will be some struggles and we are going to all make some mistakes, but we will persevere.
