*Important Notes*

 

1. Your child’s behavior will be monitored everyday by a happy/sad face. Your child will have a pocket folder that will go home everyday marked with their behavior.

 

2. If your child misses a day of school, I will have a packet with the work that they missed and their homework. The student will be asked to make up work the following day, unless if the student is excused. Then, he/she will be allotted a week to make up missed work.

 

3. Our classroom rules are as follows:

       -Follow directions quickly.

       - Raise your hand for permission to speak.

       -Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.

       -Make smart choices.

       -Keep your dear teacher happy!

    If your child breaks one of the rules, he/she will go down on the behavior chart. The first offense is a warning, the second is a 5-minute loss of recess, and for the third I will write a note on his/her conduct chart. *The conduct chart is to be signed nightly!

 

5. The class also has a chance to earn rewards as a whole. They can earn a movie party, coloring party, dance party, snack party, etc.

 

6. Each week that the student’s behavior is happy face for the whole week, they will be able to pick 1 thing out of the reward bucket.

 

7. Your child homework is to be done nightly. If the student returns to school without their homework completed, they will stay in for recess to complete it. Homework is a reinforcement of what is done in class and must be practiced!

 

8. The greatest reward that your child can earn is praise, praise, praise! (even in the small things that they accomplish), and they will definitely receive a great deal of that in my class.
