Child Development 2
We will be directly involved with the students in the preschool classroom. Students are in groups rotating throughout the room. Each group has its distinct responsibilities such as lesson planning, teaching, prepping and planning for the next day of teaching, observing students and documentation, and completing required assignments furthering their knowledge of child development.
Child Development II is a continuation of Child Development I. We delve deeper into the understanding of developmental areas and extend that knowledge to lesson planning and preparing a career in Education. It also introduces the student to other careers that require a strong understanding of child development.
Grading and Weight:
70% = Assessments (Tests, Quizzes, Projects, and Labs)
30% = Assignments (Homework, Classwork, Participation)
