Please look at your schedule and find your tutorial class, that would be your spot for Spanish. During the first week your tutorial teacher will let you know when is your first Hispanohablantes class. During class we will sign up into the appropiate Google Classroom together and I will give you a calendar that will explain your schedule. You WILL NOT receive an invitation to the Google class. You WILL NOT have class every other day, even that your schedule says that. To see when you will have class please refer to the link for the calendar in your Google classroom that will be posted there every month.

Class meets once every 6th school day. That means you will have a total of 30 to 32 lessons for the whole year! Make them count and review at home!

Materials needed: One notebook

Unit of study: "Vida Saludable y Cultura" (Healthy Lifestyle and Culture")

The purpose of the 6th Grade Hispanohablantes curriculum is to build upon the skills, knowledge, and experiences students learned during their 5th grade Hispanohablantes class. Students will broaden their ability to comprehend Spanish text and they will start developing their emergent writing skills in Spanish.  Students in this course will complete one unit over the course of two marking periods.  In this particular unit students will be introduced to the concepts of lifestyle, exercise, diet and nutrition, and culture.  Students will make connections between what is recommended and what happens in their daily life and hopefully make some positive changes to attain a healthier lifestyle.
