Connect-Ed is our "Electronic Phone System", which is used to pass along information quickly for General and Emergency messages.  We try our best to use this system efficiently. To do this, important information is passed along by phone and email, while general information such as our School Newsletter, information from the PTA, Pohatcong Recreation Association, and Community Events are passed on by emails only.

To make sure you are always connected to our school, please inform me as soon as possible with any changes to your phone numbers or email addresses.  Thank you.

From the Staff

Rick Snyder, NJHS Adviser
Congratulations to the following Pohatcong students who were inducted into our school's National Junior Honor Society:

8th graders:  Kadince Boesch, Jude Briglia, Ellie Kisselbach, Alexis Sweigert and Zack Swingle.

7th graders:  Jacob Hartman-Maher, Declan Murphy, Reese Rounsaville and Michael Stewart.

Well Done!

Carolyn Bernhard, Chorus and Band

Spring Concert and Art Show

Our Spring Concert and Art show will be held on Tuesday, May 14th.  The Art Show is a self-guided walkthrough of the school building that will feature the students artwork from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.  Beginning at 6:00, the Senior Band and Honor Chorus will perform on the stage in the gymnasium.  Please come out to view the Art Show and stick around for some great musical selections.

Instrument Donation

Perhaps you have a saxophone or trumpet in your attic that hasn’t been used in awhile. Maybe you know someone who has a trombone gathering dust. If you have an instrument that we could put to use, please contact Mrs. Bernhard to arrange a drop off of your donation.

Your donation will be giving the gift of music to a deserving student. Playing in the band may have shaped who you are today. Please help us allow our students to have that same experience.

Thank you.

Mr. Wells, Ski/Snowboard Coordinator

Our Ski/Snowboard Club Clothing Drive

This drive is very important to the students.  All money raised offsets the cost of our bus trips to the mountain, making it more affordable for kids to join the club.  We collect wearable and usable clothing (men’s, women’s and children’s), shoes, belts, handbags, and household items made of fabric (sheets, quilts, curtains, tablecloths, and towels).  Do you have too much in your house? Now would be a great time to go through your closets, drawers, basement, and attic to get rid of items you haven’t worn or used in a really long time. If in doubt, throw it in a bag and send it to school with your child. If you have a lot to donate, just drop it off during the day. If you need assistance, please see someone in the main office.  Thank you in advance, Mr. Wells
