Reading is fun!!

READ, READ, READ  Research shows this is the best way to improve reading skills.  If your child isn't reading yet then you read to them.  Let them pick out books they like.  Even if they pick the same books over and over again, it is still helping them build confidence and fluency.

** If you have access to a computer, let your child go online and play educational games.  There are so many great games online that are free.  I have some of my favorites listed under the Fun Websites icon.

* When you get a chance take your child to the local library.  They love exploring the books and it encourages them to read.
