HOURS

The library follows the school schedule and is open during the activity period on Tuesday-Thursday. All school rules apply during the activity period.

You must have a pass signed by your Classroom Teacher to come to the library.

Please sign up in advance to stay during the activity period.

GUIDELINES

The library is an academic space. While we are not a silent library please respect other user’s need for quiet as they study and read.

Phones should only be used in the library for academic purposes!!!

Do not take or make phone calls in the library.
Sign in at Front Desk with your pass and ID.
You cannot leave the media center without permission and a pass.
No food, gum or beverages are permitted in labs or main area of the media center.
Clean up before you leave.
No computer games are permitted.
If you have a problem with a computer notify us immediately. DO NOT try to fix the problem yourself.
Please return chairs to where you found them.

CHECKING OUT BOOKS AND MAGAZINES

•Unless put on reserve by a teacher, books may be signed out for 14 school days.

•Reference Books may be signed out for overnight but must be returned before first period.

•Magazines (current and back issues) may be signed out overnight but must be returned before first period.

AVOID THOSE NASTY FINES! RETURN YOUR BOOKS AND PERIODICALS ON TIME

•A Fine of $.05 a day is charged for each day a book is overdue.

•A lost book will carry a fine up to the purchase price of the book.

•If you have a problem paying your fines contact Ms. Grossman.
