Directions: After reading a chapter of a book, a good technique to help you remember what you have read is to retell what has happened in that chapter. Use the following sentences to help guide your thoughts.
1. In the beginning... (tell one event that happened)
2. Next....(what happened next)
3. Then....(what happened)
4. Next....(what happened)
5. Finally...(what happened at the end)
