Hi and welcome to my "about me" page.  This is an opportunity for you to get to know me just a little bit better!

I have been teaching in the Lee County School District for 25 years.  I taught both Kindergarten, First Grade and  Fifth Grade.  With this year being my secondyear teaching Third Grade,  I am very excited about this opportunity as a professional and believe it will be an awesome experience for both myself and your child.

I graduated from the University of South Florida (GO BULLS) where I received my B.S. in Elementary Education.  I am certified in both Primary (3 yrs old to third grade) and Elementary (first grade to sixth) Education.  As well as being ESOL Endorsed and presently I am completing an endorsement in Reading.

I have one daughter Amanda. She works for Lee Memorial Health Care and is going to shool to be a nurse.  I also have a beautiful grandson, Lincoln.  She and her family live in Cape Coral.

I have dog is a dachshund Shitzu mix. His name is Jackson,  and a chiweenie, named Cody. They are truly man's best friend. In addition I have a cat named Riley.  I saved her from being a homeless cat.  I have been known to own many animals thoughout my life from rabbits, hamsters, fish, cats etc. So I am animal lover!

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved here when I was sixteen years old. My understanding is, that at times I may have an accent, so I appologize in advance if your child sounds like a New Yorker.  Although it is very mild!  :-)

I have two brothers and two sisters who live locally, as well as my mother. We are the typical Italian family close!

My childhood dream was to become a teacher, as I had a wonderful teacher in eighth grade that totally changed my outlook on school. I was a student that struggled both academically and socially.  School was often something that I dreaded until this teacher stood up for me and helped me to believe in myself. That is the teacher I want to be! The teacher that stands up for your child, that pushes them to reach for the stars, and never makes them feel that they are unable to do it.

School is the journey of life long learning!  Working with parents and students is all I have ever wanted!  So help me; by working with me! Together we will accomplish wonderful things!

Let's Reach for the Stars and SOAR to success!

Yours Truly,

Ms. Moulton
