I review student's progress weekly and we complete a AR montoring sheet on Friday., it is located in the front of your child's DOT binder. Ever Friday afternoon please review it and sign that you have seen it.
Cape Elementary Policy for Test Taking
Fiction test may not be taken using their book, however they may use hand written notes.
Non-Fiction books maybe taken using the book.
Accelerated Reader Reports
AR (Renaissance) is the best site to help you monitor your child's progress in AR. It has a kid (and parent) friendly format that allows you to see how close your child is to meeting his/her quarterly goal for percent correct and points. It has a bookshelf to review all the books they have read for every year they have been in Lee County Schools. Best of all, you can set up an instant email every time your child takes a test so you can see their score.
