Concert Dates and Events

 

The Bridgewater-Raritan Instrumental Music Program schedules events in advance to allow teachers, parents, and students to make plans ahead of time. All listed events are required for the following ensembles. Please write these dates into your family calendar. There may be additional dates added during the school year. Detailed information will be sent home before each event.

Friday, October 6 -	8th Grade Marching Band Evening @ BRHS (Eighth Grade Band only)
Friday, December 22 -	Winter School Assembly (during the school day) @ BRMS
Thursday, January 11 -	Winter Band Concert at 7pm @ BRMS
Thursday, March 21 -	Fine Arts Festival (Band Evening) at 7pm @ BRHS
Tuesday, April 23 -	Montclair State University Concert at 7:30pm @ MSU*** (Wind Ensemble only)
Monday, May 20 -	Spring Band Concert at 7pm @ BRMS
Friday, June 7 -	Music In The Parks Trip (All day event @ Dorney Park) (Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band Only)
Friday, June 14 -	Spring School Assembly (during the school day) @ BRMS

 

***We are honored that the BRMS Wind Ensemble was invited to participate and perform at this event. More information will be made availble to Wind Ensemble students and families.

 

 

Concert Dress-

All evening concerts, festivals, and in-school field trips require concert dress for performers. Concert dress must abide by school dress codes.

 

• Concert Dress is all black from head to toe for all students.
• Acceptable Examples:
• Black dress shirt, black trousers/slacks, black socks, and black shoes
• All black dress and black shoes
  
• Black top, black skirt, and black shoes
