FCCLA

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is the student organization for students that are enrolled in or have previously taken a FACS course.  Through this organziation, students have the opportunity to gain experience in public speaking by preparing various STAR events projects.  Students are able to interact with other high school students from Louisiana and other states and most importantly have fun while learning about themselves and their values.  FCCLA is the only high school student organization that has the family and community as its central focus.  Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education.
