Grading Policy

93-100% = A             85-92% = B
75-84% = C                67-74% = D               0-66% = F

Parish policy requires at least 8 grades per nine weeks. The last nine weeks require 5 grades. Students will usually have more grades than this. Grades will consist of bell ringers, tests, quizzes, essays, projects, assignments, etc.

Restroom         Students should use the restroom during allowed times and only ask in class when NEEDED! Students will only be allowed to go to the restroom during my class with a bathroom pass, or a doctor’s excuse.

Make-ups         Parish policy: Upon returning from an absence, a student has 3 days to bring an excuse to the school. The student then has the number of days he/she missed to make up the respective work. Any students not returning an excuse will not be allowed to make up work.  These assignments will result in a zero.

Class policy: When returning from an absence, ask a friend for assistance in retrieving handouts and clarification on information not understood. I am available in the morning before classes start. After returning from an absence you will have one week to make up all assignments and test/quizzes. After the time has expired the missed assignment will result in a zero. It is a student’s responsibility to inquire about missed assignments after returning from an absence.

Tardies: All students are expected to be sitting in their assigned seats when the tardy bell rings. There is ample time between classes to get here on time. Entering class as the bell rings is not tolerated and will result in detention.
