R. Hebert Bio

Hello… I am your ELA teacher this year and my name is Ms. R. Hebert. Hopefully, you know this already. (LOL!) I would like you to know that I can’t think of anything I love more than to teach the next generation.

My history…

I was born in Indonesia.

From there I moved to Aberdeen, Scotland.

I then moved to New Orleans, Louisiana.

I moved again and this time to Lagos, Nigeria.

However, I did not stop there. Next I went to Salzburg, Austria.

After graduating from high school I moved to Port Neches, Texas.

I was not done yet…

I finally moved to Lafayette, Louisiana.

I think animals are very important and I have two cats.

Nika is a Russian Blue and Lathee is a Havana Brown.

Growing up I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I knew it and everyone that knew me growing up knew it too. Therefore, I found a job at Anderson Middle School and I never left. GO TIGERS!

I feel education is the answer to almost every situation. I promise I will work hard to help you, to teach you and help you grow. However, we are partners in this adventure and I will need your help. Help me to help you. If we do this right we will both learn a lot.

By the way, my favorite quote is…

THOSE WHO DO NOT REMEMBER THE PAST ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT!

Can you tell me what you think that means and all of the implications involved?
