Hello Parents,
My name is Ms. Hebert, and I will be your child’s 7th grade ELA teacher this year. I wish we could have met under normal circumstances at orientation, but due to COVID safety measures that was not possible. I am very excited about this upcoming school year. Below you will find information on how your child’s week will look, and where they have to go to Find their Classwork. If your child is a part of a Cohort group their week will look like this, unless otherwise informed of changes.
Cohort/Hybrid A
Monday – face to face lesson at school
Tuesday – face to face lesson at school
Wednesday – virtual lesson with work to be completed
Thursday – virtual lesson with work to be completed
Friday – virtual lesson with work to be completed
**Due dates will be attached to all assignments for ALL virtual lessons given in Google Classroom
Cohort/Hybrid B
Thursday – face to face lesson at school
Friday – face to face lesson at school
Monday – virtual lesson with work to be completed
Tuesday – virtual lesson with work to be completed
Wednesday – virtual lesson with work to be completed
**Due dates will be attached to all assignments for ALL virtual lessons given in Google Classroom
I encourage you to make sure that your children are completing their online assignments on a daily basis and not waiting until the last minute to do all the work at once. If they procrastinate, they may find that there is something they do not understand and it will be too late to ask questions. I do understand that things come up and the internet is not always reliable. Please contact me if such problems arise.
All of your student’s virtual assignments will be found in the classwork tab of their ELA google classroom. Assignments will be in order from top to bottom as they are assigned, and they will be labeled..
You will be able to see some grades for virtual assignments in the Grades tab of google classroom but the best place to keep track of grades is in STUDENT PROGRESS CENTER.
